The steering committee of the Stellenbosch University (SU) and Northwestern University (NU) Global Health Knowledge Hub invites proposals from academics and researchers, students, university administrators, and practitioners to the SU/NU Global Health Knowledge Hub Conference at Northwestern University to be hosted from September 28-30, 2026.
From health equity and systems strengthening to digital innovation, planetary health, technological advancements and implementation, we welcome all global health research and practice generating impact from local communities to the international stage.
Contributions can be guided by the SU/NU Hub working groups thematic areas listed below. However, the conference has an interdisciplinary approach, and submissions are invited from all fields of study.
- Global Primary Care Across the Lifespan
- Biomedical Engineering
- Health Professions Education
- Infectious Disease and Genomics
- Climate, Health, and Environmental Engineering
We encourage submissions that elevate underrepresented perspectives, scalable innovations, and demonstrate measurable impacts in their fields.
Presenters of selected abstracts will display their work during a conference poster session. Authors of the highest-scoring abstracts will also be invited to deliver a brief oral presentation following the poster session.
